Garlic Festival in Arizona
The sixth annual Garlic Festival will be held September 28 and 29, 2019, at Queen Creek Olive Mill, 25062 South Meridian Road, Queen Creek, Arizona.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. that Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, and “breath mints will be provided”.
Look for a variety of organically grown garlic, food trucks featuring garlic specials, and garlic shops with everything garlic including garlic olive oil, garlic-stuffed olives, marinated garlic, and garlic spreads.
A “garlick-ing good menu” is promised, including garlic gelato, garlic cupcakes, garlic brownies — and cooking demonstrations by Perry Rea. Of course, there’ll also be live music and games.
Road Trips Foodies will need to buy tickets at the event for the Garlic 101 Class, to learn all about how to plant, grow, and harvest garlic.
