Tour Casa Bacardi
Planning to visit Puerto Rico? Consider visiting the Casa Bacardi Visitor Center (pictured) in Cantaño (suburban San Juan).
For $12, you’ll get a tour of the center plus a welcome drink and a commemorative 12-ounce acrylic glass. Pony up an additional $23 and you can also tour the distillery, sample four premium rums or take a a “drink-confectioning” course.
Casa Bacardi is open for tours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
If you’re driving, Road Trips Foodies, take Highway 22 west from San Juan to the Cantaño exit, Road 165. The plant is visible on the right about a mile from the exit at the Bay View Industrial Park in Cantaño.
