A Distiller’s Dinner in Kentucky
If bourbon’s your tipple of choice, Road Trips Foodies, you might want to check to see if there are any tickets left for the Distiller’s Dinner this weekend at the Carson Center, 100 Kentucky Avenue, Paducah, Kentucky.
This year’s dinner, which starts at 6:30 p.m. Saturday (October 26, 2013) features Elijah Craig, a small batch premium bourbon, represented by Bernie Lubbers, “The Whiskey Professor” (pictured at left).
Visit with Bernie at a reception, then take your seat for a dinner catered by Artisan Kitchen. Bernie will tell great bourbon stories intertwined with American history. He is the author of “Bourbon Whiskey – Our Native Spirit” and Ambassador of North American Whiskey for Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky.
Proceeds benefit the Carson Center, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts center.
