The Big Dill in Baltimore
The Big Dill takes place November 11 and 12, 2023, at Power Plant Live, 34 Market Place, Baltimore, Maryland. (Yes: the original dates in September 2023 were rained out.)
The Big Dill World’s Largest Pickle Party® is the premier pickle event of the year, featuring a pickle garden with 10+ handpicked artisan pickle companies sampling and selling a variety of pickles from all over the country. After the festival, attendees will receive a survey to vote for their favorite pickle company that will win The Best in Show.
The Festival officially opens at noon but tickets are tiered with different access times. Those with VIP and Early Entree Admission gain access to the festival one hour early at 11 a.m., Family Admission – Noon, Tier 1 – 1 p.m., and Tier 2 – 2 p.m. You can enter only at the time listed or anytime after.
Entertaining guests throughout the weekend is a modern country, pop, and rock-themed live stage production with performances by musicians, actors, comedy routines, and choreographed dancers. Guests are also entertained by the crowd’s favorite, The Big Dill World Pickle Eating Championship featuring competitive eaters and the hilarious Brine Chug Challenge.
Custom-themed cocktails and liquor experiences are developed by Tullamore D.E.W., The Original Pickle Shot, Milagro tequila, and Old Bay® Vodka to keep 21+ attendees celebrating throughout the day.
Photo-ready attractions are placed throughout the festival, and Giant L.E.D. Video Walls capture all the stage action, so fans never miss a second while in concession lines.
A section of the festival is dedicated to carnival games to entertain kids, mascots including The Big Dill’s own Dilly the Pickle™ traverse the festival grounds dancing and taking pictures with guests; plus, you can test your rodeo skills with indoor bull riding.
And Road Trips Foodies won’t want to miss the food selection where guests get to munch on pickled-themed culinary delights, including fried pickles, pickle pizza, pickle egg rolls, pickle fries, and pickle ice cream, in addition to your traditional carnival treats and sweets.
