Sippin’ in the City
For the second year, the Idaho Wine Commission will be hosting ‘Sippin’ in the City,’ a wine and food event set for November 8, 2012, in the Linen Building, 1402 West Grove Street, Boise, Idaho (map).
More than 15 Idaho wineries will be showcased, as well as tasty treats from Idaho’s culinary artists and tunes from the Vinyl Preservation Society of Idaho.
There will also be a food and wine pairing seminar by Kathryn House of Wine Wise Idaho. The consumer tasting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and conclude at 9 p.m. $30 tickets include a commemorative wine glass.
There are a total of 49 wineries with 1600 vineyard acres planted in Idaho, and it’s estimated that the wine industry contributed $73 million to Idaho’s economy.
