Winter Beer Festival
Spring may still be weeks away, but Road Trips Foodies can warm up at the Winter Beer Festival set for February 24 through 26, 2011, in Derby, Derbyshire, England, United Kingdom.
This festival features more than 170 real ales alongside an extensive range of cider, wine and continental lager plus local food and live music.
It’ll be held on Derby College’s Roundhouse campus (just behind Derby’s railway station) and a 15-minute walk from the City Center. Worried about the distance? The festival organizers are providing a shuttle bus at least every 10 minutes from the Derby market place to the festival throughout the festival.
The Winter Beer Festival is part of CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, campaigning for real ale, pubs and drinkers’ rights since 1971.
