Ah! Road Trips Foodies, have you ever tasted a quince? No? Then consider a drive to the Quince Festival Celebration at VineYard Farmers Market“, 106 West Shaw, Fresno, California. Between 7 a.m. and noon November 6, 2010, you can watch local chefs do it with quinces.
Yes, we’re talking cooking demonstrations and a chance to meet the “Queen of Quince”, Barbara Ghazarian, whose book (Simply Quince) about the “forgotten fruit” has plucked it from obscurity.
