Stuttgart Wine Festival
The annual Wine Festival in Stuttgart, Germany, is centered on Schillerplatz 4, Innenstadt, Stuttgart, August 28 through September 8, 2019.
Trollinger red wine, white Riesling, or rosé Schiller wines will be offered by local wineries. Road Trips Foodies also can sample the traditional dishes from the regions of Württemberg and Baden, such as Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli), kässpätzle (cheese noodles), Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with onions), Ofaschlupfer (sweat bread pudding), or Bubaspitzle (rolled potato-dumpling). There will be about 120 vendor stalls decorated with vines.
All sorts of special events are planned during the twelve days of the wine festival, including the traditional “grape pressing” starring prominent politicians, fun Family Sundays, ecumenical services, and tours around the venue with wine tasting.
