Radovljica Chocolate Festival in Slovenia
The annual Radovljica Chocolate Festival takes place April 15 and 16, 2023, in the medieval town of Radovljica, Slovenia.
The festival brings together Slovenian chocolatiers for tastings and chocolate workshops — it’s the largest chocolate festival in the country.
Road Trips Foodies will be enticed by the vast choice of pralines, chocolates, desserts, and other chocolate delights. More than 150 chocolate treats will be available for tasting at the festival. Among them are various types of chocolates and truffles, biscuits, chocolate minions, tarts, various types of chocolate-covered fruit, liqueurs, and even chocolate wine.
In addition to tasting chocolate (which takes place through the purchase of tasting coupons), visitors have the chance to meet some of Slovenia’s chocolate experts, learn new skills by watching cookery shows, and have fun and be entertained by the entertainment, including concerts, children’s entertainment, and creative workshops
Radovljica is surrounded by the Julian Alps, and there are many hiking trails of all levels around the outskirts of Radovljica (all the better to work off the calories from all that chocolate).
