Leuven Holds Beer-Centric Events in April
Road Trips Foodies know that Belgian beer is among the best in the world. A series of festivals this month will give aficionados the chance to sample different brews.
There’s a threepeat of Beer Weekends in Leuven, Flanders: April 13 and 14, April 19 and 20, and The Zythos Beer Festival April 27 and 28, 2019.
Look for beer events, tastings, and brewery visits. The event is centered on the historic De Hoorn brewery, site of the original Stella Artois brewery.
Zythos Beer Festival is acknowledged as the largest such fest in Flanders. It takes place in the Brabanthal, Leuven, Flanders. More than a hundred breweries producing 500 different types of beer will be offering tastings. Zythos is the national beer consumers group made up of regional groups of beer lovers, who have got together to help protect the interests of the beer consumers and promote Belgian beer.
