The 27th annual New Orleans Wine & Food Experience (NOWFE) takes place April 3 through 7, 2019, in (where else?) New Orleans, Louisiana.
Hundreds of wineries, restaurants, chefs, and vendors participate.
Highlights include:
Cochon de Lait: 4-6 p.m. April 4, 2019, at Central City BBQ. (A cochon de lait is a social event surrounding the roasting of a pig over an open hardwood fire — and the feast and frivolity that follows.)
Royal Street Stroll: 5:30-8:30 p.m. April 4, 2019.
Friday Evening Grand Tasting: 6-9 p.m. April 5, 2019.
All sorts of seminars: April 5 and 6, 2019.
