Long before the Muppet movie with all those leg-less frogs getting around on crutches, frogs’ legs were a staple on restaurant menus. In some places, they still are.
One of those places is Louisiana, where the 45th annual Frog Festival takes place this weekend in Rayne (May 11 through 14, 2017).
Oh, yes: there’s music, arts & crafts, carnival rides, a dance contest, a parade and even an accordion contest, but Road Trips Foodies are hopping on over for the frog eating contest and the frog cookoff.
