Flower Field Dinners Across the USA

Submitted by on March 3, 2017 – 8:54 amNo Comment

Field-to-Vase Dinner, Plymouth, MinnesotaOK, Road Trips Foodies — there’s just no excuse not to participate in one of the flower field dinners scheduled across the United States this year from March through November.

What are they?

Known more formally as the “American Grown Field to Vase Dinner Tour”, the dinners are a series of “gatherings that place seasonal, local and sustainable American Grown Flowers at the center of the table where locally grown food, beer and wine is served by a farm-to-table chef”.

Each artisan-style dinner is held at a unique venue — an American flower farm. Each includes a brief farm tour and floral design demonstration during a reception; an artisan-style, locally-sourced meal, craft beer and wine; American Grown Flowers to take home — and personal stories told by the chef and the flower farmers. Prices range from $175 to $200 per person.

This is the third year for the tour, presented by Certified American Grown Flowers, a unified and diverse coalition of U.S. flower farmers, including small and large farms located in multiple states around the country.

Here are the upcoming dinner locations:
