If you’re thinking of heading to Switzerland this summer, Road Trips Foodies, here’s a thought: a nine-day tour that combines chocolate, cheese and wine.
“Cheese, Chocolate, and the Scenic Alps”, a small group tour from Alpenwild immerses participants in the history, culture, and cuisine of Switzerland by visiting small cities, towns, and regions including Luzern, Emmental, Grindelwald, Gruyères, Montreux, the Rhone Valley and Zermatt.
Check out cheesemaking over an open fire, tending a vineyard, learning the craft of making fine chocolates, and cultivating mountain herbs. Taste fondue, raclette, alp cheese, artisan rye breads, pinot noir wines and Swiss chocolate.
