St. Benno Fest

Following the traditions of early German immigrant families, partygoers head to the Athenaeum, 401 East Michigan Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, for the St. Benno Fest April 18, 2015.
There, at 7 p.m., St. Benno and his goat, Herr Bock, will officially tap the first beer keg of spring and follow that with the ceremonial chugging of two beers.
The party includes dancing to the Chardon Polka Band and a yodeling contest. All proceeds from this fundraising event benefit the care and maintenance of the Historic Athenaeum.
