Good Food Festival
If you’ll be anywhere near the Windy City toward the end of March, consider scheduling a stop at the Good Food Festival.
Of most interest to Road Trips Foodies is the festival event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 21, 2015. More than 100 exhibitors are expected, along with local food artisans, workshops, chef demos and learning experiences in the Kids’ Corner.
Schedules for March 19 and 20 are for those in the food trade — except for Localicious!
From 7 to 9:30 p.m. March 20, 2015, Chicago chefs are cooking up savory dishes for tastings. Pairing with local farmers who use sustainable growing methods, these artisans will demonstrate “farm to table” results. The party is complete with beverages created by Chicago-area and regional distilleries and breweries.
All events take place in the University of Illinois Chicago Forum, 725 West Roosevelt Road, Chicago, Illinois.
Now in its 11th year, the Good Food Festival & Conference is the oldest and largest trade show in the United States dedicated to local and sustainable food. It’s sponsored by Family Farmed.
