Taco enthusiasts will enjoy the LA Cycle Taco Tour in Los Angeles. During this bicycle tour, visitors will be taken to some of the city’s best taco stands and trucks throughout different neighborhoods and historic sites. This tour is approximately two – three hours long and nine miles in distance. The $100 price includes bicycle, helmet, safety vest, water bottle and all the tacos you can eat during the ride.
Visitors to Boston always want to know where to get the best chowder (or chowda, if you’re local!). The Yummy Walks Seafood and Chowda Tour takes groups for a three-hour scenic stroll along the HarborWalk to sample variations of this iconic concoction as well as other seafood specialties. Take the Cupcake & Macaron Tour of DC in Georgetown. Both of these walking tours offer six tastings, either on the sidewalk or within the various establishments. Cost is $50 per person and groups are limited to 20 people.
If Creole cuisine is your preference, take a tour with Doctor Gumbo in New Orleans. You will visit neighborhood restaurants serving dishes that represent the area’s heritage, including gumbo, poboys, muffulettas and more. Plus, your guide will discuss various restaurant family dynasties and make recommendations for places to eat and shop. The three-hour walking tour takes place in the French Quarter and costs $55 for adults, $20 for children. When possible the chefs come out to visit the groups and discuss their creations.
