Even France celebrates harvest season with a foodie fest. Fête de l’Automne à Epicurium takes place from 2 to 6:30 p.m. September 27, 2014, and 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. September 28, 2014, in the Epicurium, La Cité de l’Alimentation, rue Pierre Bayle à Montfavet, Avignon, France.
The Epicurium — a “living museum” — is a place to learn about fruits and vegetables. On this weekend, the fall celebration includes tastings, cooking and gardening demonstrations and guided visits.
It’s probably a good thing if you speak French, because there’s not a word of information anywhere your Road Trips Foodie could find in English about either the Epicurium or its Fête de l’Automne.
