Pork Day

It’s only fitting, considering how many pigs are raised in these parts, that one of the biggest community celebrations is Pork Day.
Held the second weekend in July each year in Albion, Illinois, it’ll be July 11 and 12, 2014.
Pork Day takes place on the Court House Square, and includes barbecue (of course) but also music, a parade, Little Miss Pork Queen Contest, kids’ activities and all sorts of vendors.
