Ribfest in NE Indiana

The 17th annual BBQ Ribfest is set for June 19 through 22, 2014, in Headwaters Park, downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Each year, 20 tons of barbecue is consumed over those four days by National Award Winning BBQ teams from across the country. Yes, Road Trips Foodies, we’re talking brisket, ribs, pulled pork, rib sandwiches and BBQ chicken.
There will be live music and the event takes place rain or shine: the massive canopy over the terrace at Headwaters Park guarantees you will stay dry no matter what the weather. Just come prepared to pig out.
Insider’s note: admission is free daily until 5:30 p.m. After that, it’s $7 for adults.
