If you’ve ever longed to experience the endless possibilities of fungus, Road Trips Foodies, this fest is for you.
The 32nd annual Morel Mushroom Festival takes place May 16 through 18, 2014, in Muscoda, Wisconsin.
Food vendors will be cooking everything from mushroom brats to fried mushrooms, but there’ll also be live entertainment, a horseshoe tournament, arts and crafts — and (to finish it off) a fireworks display. A full schedule is online.
And, yes: morel mushrooms will be on sale during the festival. Mushroom headquarters is the Kratochwill Memorial Building, 206 North Wisconsin Avenue, Muscoda, Wisconsin.
