Chocolate Stroll
Take a Chocolate Stroll through downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana. The annual event in the historic district of this riverfront town (just across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky) takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. May 9, 2014.
Stroll the sidewalks and stop by 15 different chocolate tasting stations located within the locally owned shops and restaurants. The event also features five live musical acts and a balloon artist located along the historic districts sidewalks.
But, Road Trips Foodies, take note: you probably should plan ahead if you plant to stop by. Only 500 tickets will be sold. They’re $8 in advance and (if any are left) $10 on the day of the event. Your first stop will be the registration area in the Glossbrenner Garden (corner of Spring and Chestnut Streets) where you pick up a map of the participating shops. The event takes place within a four block area of downtown.
