Yes, it’s almost time for the National Pie Championships and its sister event, the Great American Pie Festival. The first is in the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Forida, on April 25 through 27, 2014, and the second is set for April 26 and 27, 2014, in Celebration, Florida.
Want to enter? You’d better hurry: deadlines for entries to the pie championships are coming up. Amateur and professional bakers must submit their entry forms and recipes no later than March 28, 2014, and commercial bakers by March 30, 2014.
The American Pie Council® is the only organization committed to preserving America’s pie heritage and promoting American’s love affair with pies by raising awareness, enjoyment and consumption of pies.
