Seafood Festival in Spain
If you’re in Spain right now, Road Trips Foodies, you’re in luck. The annual Seafood Festival in underway in O’Grove, Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain.
It started Friday (October 4, 2013) and runs through October 13, 2013.
During the celebrations, fish and shellfish go on sale at special prices, prepared and served by town locals. The regional produce attracts thousands of people every year, making this event a point of reference, and earning O’Grove its nickname of “seafood paradise”. There is also music, traditional dance, competitions and sporting events, plus seminars and exhibitions.
