Galena Food and Wine Festival

If you’re anywhere near northwestern Illinois this weekend, Road Trips Foodies, consider swinging by Galena on Friday (September 6, 2013) for the Food and Wine Festival.
It’s set for 7 to 10 p.m. in the Galena Convention Center, 900 Galena Square Drive, Galena, Illinois (map).
Some 150 different wines can be sampled, along with food from Galena area restaurants. Tickets are $50 (designated drivers get in for $30).
