Apple Wines and Music Festival

As Road Trips Foodies surely know, not all wines are made from grapes.
Apple wines will be celebrated September 28 and 29, 2013, during Apple Wines and Music Festival, at Four Sisters Winery, 783 County Road 519, Belvidere, New Jersey (map).
From noon until 5 p.m. each day, you can pick your own apples, sample apple wines, take tractor-drawn hayrides or a wine cellar tour. There’s a corn maze and barbecue, too.
Although apple wines are the stars (specifically, Sadie’s Apple Wine, Spicy Sisters and Captain’s Choice), there also will be red, white and rosé (made from grapes!) on offer.
Tickets at the gate are $12 for those 21 and older, $6 for ages 6-20; those younger than 6 get in free.
