Savor California’s Central Coast
Celebrate the allure of California’s Central Coast (half-way between Los Angeles and San Francisco) at Savor the Central Coast, set for September 26 through 29, 2013.
This four-day culinary experience produced by Sunset magazine will showcase local winemakers, brew masters, chefs, artisanal food purveyors, fishermen, farmers and entrepreneurs from the region.
Options include a close look at sustainable abalone farming, a tour behind the walls of Hearst Castle, vineyard visits and wine tastings. The “Main Event” will be held at Santa Margarita Ranch September 28 and 29, 2013, highlighting winemakers, celebrity chefs, brew masters, fishermen, artisanal food producers, Sunset experts and many more artisans and producers from Ventura to Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo to Monterey to Santa Cruz.
