Cheese lovers no doubt already have July 21, 2013, circled on their calendars. That’s the date for this year’s Vermont Cheesemakers Festival at Shelburne Farm, 1611 Harbor Road, Shelburne, Vermont (map).
Vermont claims title as the premium artisanal cheese state with the highest number of cheesemakers per capita: more than 40 of which will be on hand between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the farms’ Coach Barn.
There’ll also be Vermont artisan food producers plus Vermont wine, beer and spirits producers. Tickets are $50.
