Sunset Wine Walks in Snohomish
If there’s ever a perfect time to savor a glass of wine, surely it’s at sunset.
If you’re wandering near Snohomish, Washington, this summmer, Road Trips Foodies, consider timing your drive schedule to participate in a “Sunsets in Snohomish Wine Walk“. They’re set for the second Saturday of the month throughout the summer (upcoming walks are July 13, August 10 and September 14, 2013).
Between 5 and 8 p.m., participants can sip and stroll downtown Snohomish and along the riverfront trail (map). Same-day tickets are $13, and include seven tastes of wine (extra tastes can be purchased for $1 each).
Needless to say, there are lots of special events during the walks: stores stay open for evening shoppers and local restaurants offer dining specials in the “Antique Capital of the Northwest”.
The only thing you have to remember: this is BYOG (bring your own glass). Be prepared!
