BBQ Ribfest in Fort Wayne

Road Trips Foodies whose itinerary takes them through northeast Indiana next weekend will want to put this BBQ Ribfest on their schedules.
Now in its 16th year, the fest takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. June 13 through 16, 2013. Note to the wise: admission is free each day until 5:30 p.m. After that, it’s $8 for those 13 and older.
Some 20 tons of BBQ risket, ribs, pulled pork, rib sandwiches and chicken are consumed each year during what’s called Fort Wayne’s favorite summer festival.
Oh, yeah: there’s also great blues music on the stage, but we’re heading there for the food, not the entertainment, right?
