A 4th of July Tea, But Not On Independence Day

Get a jump on Independence Day by celebrating our nation’s birthday on Sunday (June 30, 2013) at Tudor Place Historic House and Garden, 1644 31st Street NW, Washington, D.C. (map).
The Independence Day Tea — adults only — is set for 1 to 3 p.m. and includes tea (of course) plus scones, sandwiches and sweets plus a tour of the mansion that highlights its George and Martha Washington artifacts. Tickets are $30.
