It’s Craft Beer Week in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
It started yesterday (April 19) and runs through April 27, 2013.
Your Road Trips Foodie‘s favorite event is tomorrow, April 21, 2013. That would be the all-day Beer is Proof that God Loves Us — the first-ever Sunday School Class at Franktuary. Eric Meyer from Wigle Whiskey will give a presentation on how many brewing and distillation techniques originated in the monastery. There’ll be food samples from Franktuary plus Belgian beer and Wigle Whiskey.
(Of course, you know that Ben Franklin was misquoted, but — heck — it still sounds right!)
There are many more on the schedule, so pick one (or more) and aim your car for western Pennsylvania this week.
