If your route takes you to southern California next weekend, Road Trips Foodie, plan to swing by the first Street Food Market at the San Diego Public Market, 1735 National Avenue, San Diego, California (map).
Hours are 6 to 8 p.m. March 24, 2013. Get tickets online.
Promised are “authentic and innovative takes on traditional street food from many cultures.” More than 40 chefs are participating.
The San Diego Public Market’s Farmers’ Market is held twice weekly (from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Sundays). The permanent market is expected to open in the summer.
