Wine & Chocolate Indulgence
About this time of the year, spring seems beyond forever in the future. The thought of escaping to tropical climes, almost irresistible.
If you’re driving near Madison, Wisconsin, near the end of the month, Road Trips Foodie, plan to swing on by the Olbrich Botanical Gardens, 330 Atwood Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin (map), for an Indulgence Wine & Chocolate Tasting.
It takes place between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. February 23, 2013, in the gardens’ Bolz Conservatory. Tickets are $25 (or, $15 for the “designated driver”).
Experience the warmth of the lush, tropical tropical plants and the smell of exotic flowers. Not to mention wine, chocolate, candlelight, and music.
This decadent evening features tastings of an array of local wine and spirits paired with the ultimate indulgence of handcrafted chocolates and desserts made by local chocolatiers.
Meet the chocolate artists and wine producers as you sample their wares. Stroll through the candlelit conservatory with music in the background. As a token of the evening, take home a commemorative wine glass. Of course, select wine, spirits, chocolates and desserts available for purchase.
