No surprise, Road Trips Foodies: German sausage is the star of the Wurstfest in Mount Angel, Oregon.
Set for February 15 and 16, 2013, this “last blast of winter” is sponsored by the Mount Angel Chamber of Commerce. They suggest dusting off your Lederhosen, starching your Dirndl and joining the “happy folk” at the fest for beer, sausage and dancing. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. both days.
Children accompanied by an adult are admitted free.
It all takes place in the New Mount Angel Community Building “Festhalle”, 500 South Wilco Highway, Mount Angel, Oregon (map).
