Will he succeed? If you’re traveling west of Chicago next weekend, Road Trips Foodies, consider swinging by downtown Geneva, Illinois.
At 7 p.m. December 8, 2012, pastry guru, Chef Alain Roby (pictured), will put the finishing touches on the “World’s Longest Candy Cane” in an attempt to obtain his third Guinness World Record.
The candy cane is expected to reach 45 feet along downtown Third Street, beginning at the Geneva Courthouse and stretching to the intersection in front of his All Chocolate Kitchen, 33 South Third Street, Geneva, Illinois (map).
