Kansas City Restaurant Week
Driving along I-70 or I-35 in January, Road Trips Foodies? Kansas City Restaurant Week, a 10-day dining event, will once again offer hundreds of menus at a multitude of area restaurants to diners January 18 through 27, 2013.
A list of participating restaurants (125 and counting) is online.
The fourth annual restaurant week is organized by the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association and the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association. (Just in case you didn’t know, Kansas City is a bi-state metro area that straddles the Missouri-Kansas line.)
Last year’s event raised $143,000 for Harvesters – the Community Food Network. The 2013 event will also benefit the Kansas City Regional Destination Development Foundation and The Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
