“chocolART: International Chocolate Festival” takes place December 4 through 9, 2012, in Altstadt Tübingen, Germany.
Of course it’s a time to taste chocolate from Swiss pralines to Belgian truffles, but Road Trips Foodies also can learn how to cook with chocolate, pair beer with chocolate or even stop for a chocolate massage.
Chocolate specialists from France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and “selected premises” in Germany participate.
The Mayan culture says that chocolate has a divine origin. In Europe, this idea has led to the production of chocolate-themed art and literature. In addition to the chocolate itself, Tübingen will offer an extensive accompanying cultural program centering on chocolate.
