Interested in all things mushroom, Road Trips Foodie? If you’ll be in Western Canada next weekend, there’s the perfect event for you taking place at Myrtle Philip School, 6195 Lorimer Road, Whistler, British Columbia, Canada (map).
“The Fungus Among Us”, set for October 12 and 13, 2012, features mushroom-themed walks, talks and tastes.
Presented by the Whistler Naturalists Society, this event begins on Fridaywith Silvia Bergensen (Dyeing with Mushrooms) and Paul Kroeger (Spores of the Outer Coast).
On Saturday, expert-led mushroom walks start at 8:30 a.m., and the event wraps up with gourmet mushroom tasting.
