Delaware Wine & Beer Festival
“Drink Local, Eat Local, Buy Local” is the theme of the third annual Delaware Wine & Beer Festival set for noon ’til 5 p.m. October 21, 2012, in the Delaware Agricultural Museum & Village, 866 North DuPont Highway, Dover, Delaware (map).
There’ll be 50 varieties of Delaware wines and beers to sample. Road Trips Foodies can meet the First State’s vintners and brewers, shop at 40 booths for Delaware artisans and artists; listen to live acoustic jazz music by Paul Cullen (former bassist for Bad Company); attend seminars on wine, beer, spirits and home brewing; participate in keg tossing and corn hole games, and sample foods by local purveyors including seafood, brick-oven pizza, fresh-baked breads and cheeses.
Tickets are $35 at the door and include 10 beverage samples. The event is produced by Kent County Tourism.
