Two Tastes in Southwest Florida

Whether you’re in southwest Florida on the first or second Sunday of November, Road Trips Foodies, you’ll have a treat in store.
The 30th annual Taste of the Town in Fort Myers, Florida, will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. November 4, 2012. Sponsored by the Junior League of Fort Myers, it’ll include samplings from more than 40 local restaurants (plus of course music and other entertainment. It all takes place in Centennial Park along the Caloosahatchee River.
The next weekend, it’s Taste of the Islands, taking place from 12:30 to 5 p.m. November 11, 2012, in Sanibel Community Park on Sanibel Island. It’s sponsored by the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife and it, too, includes live music.
