Beer ‘n’ Bangers Festival
Aficionados know that nothing goes better with a brewsky than a sausage.
Beer ‘n’ Bangers in the Southwestern Lake District of England is a fitting celebration of this pairing, teaming the products of craft breweries and sausage makers, with 18 venues (map) each serving fresh locally made produce for you to visit.
On October 5, 6 and 7, 2012, visitors can meander Millom, Broughton, Duddon Valley, The Green, Bootle, Waberthwaite, Silecroft and Whitbeckn to see which craft beer or banger they like the best.
There are all sorts of special events, including a beer tasting for beginners; a Cumberland breakfast made with Patton’s sausage, Waberthwaite bacon and Haverigg eggs, and self-guided walks along beer ‘n’ bangers trails.
Beer ‘n’ Bangers is organized by South Copeland Tourism Community Interest Company in partnership with local businesses.
