Richard Hinijosa is New Executive Chef at Larkspur
Richard Hinijosa (pictured) has been named Executive Chef at Larkspur, 458 Vail Valley Drive, Vail, Colorado.
Born and raised in Texas, Hinojosa attended the Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Arizona and began his professional career as Chef de Partie at Azzura Point in Coronado, California.
He moved back to Scottsdale to work at le Mary Elaine’s at The Phoenician, and then to Hawaii.
At the Westin Maui Resort and Spa, Rich was named a finalist for Hawai’i’s “Top Young Chefs” by Hawaiian Hospitality magazine and became a certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers.
During the summer, Larkspur is open for dinner each evening at 6 p.m.
