Miami Spice
Plan to enjoy a bit of “Miami Spice” this summer. From August 1 through September 30, 2012, the 11th annual Miami Spice Restaurant Program offers discounted three-course lunch and dinner menus in restaurants throughout the Greater Miami area.
The expanded format of Miami Spice will consist of a two restaurant groups: Luxury Restaurants and Fine Dining Restaurants. The complete list is online.
Luxury restaurants will offer three course prix-fixe lunches at $23 per person, dinners at $39.
Fine dining restaurants will feature menus at $19 for lunch, $33 for dinner. All Miami Spice menus
include an appetizer, entrée and dessert as part of the fixed price (which excludes tax and gratuities).
A special event during Miami Spice is the “Burger, Beer & Balls Bash” to be held from 4 to 10 p.m. August 4, 2012, in the Brickell neighborhood (map). It’s a preview of the next Miami Taste of Brickell Food & Wine Festival set for March 2013.
