It’s set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 12, 2012, in the Can-Do Kitchen, 511 Harrison Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan (map).
From brand-new, never-used items to long-forgotten vintage doodads, there will be all kinds of fun, funky, useful kitchen gadgets and small appliances at the sale. Ready to go are electric griddles, blenders, ice cream makers, pots and pans, dishes, glasses and linens.
Proceeds from the sale will support Can-Do Kitchen programs, which help the community’s food entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of small business success.
The Fair Food Matters’ Can-Do Kitchen is the region’s only food business incubator. Fair Food Matters works to improve the physical, economic and social health of the communities it serves through local food.
