If you’re already headed across the pond, Road Trips Foodies, you might want to wander to England’s West Country this weekend for the fourth annual Porthleven Food and Music Festival (map).
Theme for this year’s event, set for Saturday (April 21, 2012) is “Fit for Food”, healthy eating and fun activities for keeping fit that draw inspiration from the Olympics — held in Great Britain this summer.
Cooking demonstrations will feature Antony Worrall Thompson, Jude Kereama, Nigel Tabb, Bruce Rennie, Stew Eddy, Olly Jackson and Chris Brooks.
All of the vendors are from Cornwall. (Don’t miss the Fisherman’s BBQ.)
