From Saturday (April 28, 2012) through May 3, 2012, you’ll want to be in Boston, Massachusetts, for the Bacon and Beer Week, a celebration dedicated to (yes!) bacon and beer.
The website lists all the participating restaurants, from Ashmont Grill to Za.
The week kicks off Saturday at the House of Blues, 15 Lansdowne Street Boston, Massachusetts (map). From 2:30 until 5 p.m., restaurants and other food purveyors from Greater Boston will prepare their best bacon-based dishes paired with beer from local breweries. Proceeds benefit local hunger relief organizations Lovin’ Spoonfuls and Community Servings.
