Food & Wine Classic in Aspen
The 30th Food & Wine Classic is set for June 15 through 17, 2012, in Aspen, Colorado.
Such culinary luminaries as Mario Batali, Giada DeLaurentiis, Bobby Flay, Emeril Lagasse, Tom Colicchio, Danny Meyer, Jacques Pépin, Michael Symon and Ming Tsai will lead more than 80 cooking seminars and demonstrations.
Attendees can look forward to a hands-on knife skills seminar, a butchering demonstration and a late-night dessert bash.
In addition, more than 300 wineries and luxury lifestyle brands will sample their newest products in the Grand Tasting Pavilion. Concurrently, there’s a Restaurant Trade Program for hospitality professionals hosted for the 23rd year by American Express.
Participating in the three-day weekend event isn’t cheap. Tickets are $1,125 if purchased before March 15, 2012, and $1,225 thereafter.
