It’s almost here, Road Trips Foodies! What? The Taste of Chicago kicks off June 24, 2011, and runs through July 3, 2011, in and around Grant Park along the lakefront downtown.
Admission is free; you just pay for your tastes from the 59 restaurants who’ve signed up to participate. Of course, there’s also music and other entertainment, plus the refreshing spray of the Buckingham Fountain when you need to cool off.
Don’t miss the chef demos in the cooking corner at the taste, which has been held every summer since 1980.
