Hawaiian Small Plates
This is a culinary category your Road Trips Foodie hadn’t heard of: Hawaiian Small Plates. That’s all the more reason to schedule a stop on Oregon’s Pacific Coast if you’re traveling that way at the end of June.
There’ll be an Hawaiian Small Plates demonstration class at Lincoln City‘s Culinary Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 25, 2011. The $50 cost includes the demo plus a meal and wine. The menu? Hearts of palm with asparagus and coconut lime dressing, Ahi poke served on crispy wonton wrappers, macademia-crusted mahi mahi with coconut chili butter sauce, kalua pork and pineapple cake.
If you’re not going to be anywhere near Lincoln City on that date, check out the complete schedule of classes for other options.
